My site is currently text!!!

I have hosted the beta version of my site in full text mode and contains around 650 pages of information. I am in the process of getting the graphic site completed... I had applied for the dmoz listing knowing the fact that it takes time to get approved...
Do you think the editor will approve the site?

If it is not finished, and it its current state in does not warrant sufficient unique content to warrant a listing, then it will not be listed.

We do not list sites on the basis of what they will be when they reach adulthood, we list sites based on the content at the exact instant they are reviewed.

All the content that I have there is unique and informative...
It means the site will get listed right?

This violation of the submittal guidelines, like other violations, is foolish and counterproductive at best, harmful to your own interests at worst.

"Wait until your site is finished."

You may ask for another status in these forums in six months. You may not ask for a review.

With "You may not ask for a review" I think Hutcheson means that you won't get any indication on these forums of whether your site is currently listable, based on looking at its content. That would duplicate the work that the category's editor (more precisely, one of the editors who have the right to edit there) will have to do when he/she gets around to reviewing your site.

A text only site can be listed. Some of our editors use Lynx, and others often use a browser with image loading turned off.

In fact, as I understand the editing guidelines, the style of the site is irrelevant (except for excessive popup/popunder/dissolve functions, which make it difficult to view the site).

Six months since I have submitted my listing.
