My site (Senses Art Nouveau) has been added to:http://ch.dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/Belgium/Regions/Brussels-Capital/Arts_and_Entertainment/ on :Last update: 11:55 PT, Monday, April 14, 2003 .
But if I am searching for it in ODP I do not find it even if above the Search page I read this:
Search database last updated on: Fri Apr 25 21:27:00 PDT 2003 .
Has anybody an explanation ?
Thank you

The search results are taken from the "RDF dump", which is a collection of all the ODP made for other companies to copy and use. Usually the RDF takes about 5 days to complete, and search takes another day or two to update, so you should see a listed site searchable a week after the RDF dump starts. Since that happens once a week, it can take up to two weeks to be included in search results.

Just recently there have been a few delays and the last RDF took longer than usual. The RDF process has now been moved onto its own server, so it'll be faster in the future. You'll have to give it another week or two to make sure any technical issues with the move have been sorted out.

I'm not seeing this. I haven't seen any results in weeks. Has there been a delay in the data dump?

Yes, there are delays in updating the search engine due to the server upgrades that are ongoing. It may be another month before the search databases is updated, at the latest estimates.

Any site added before about 2003-04-04 should be in the RDF dump. The last RDF was finalised on 2003-04-09, so some sites added up until then may have got in, but only if they were in the last few categories that were scanned.
