my site <url removed> was listed in dmoz in year 2000 some one took my site of dmoz
how do i find out who it was
do i have recourse with an attorney

You can't find out who removed your site from the directory. Editing logs are not public.

No, you don't. The public guidelines and terms of service explicitly state that no site is guaranteed inclusion, and that a site that is listed in the directory is not guaranteed to stay listed.

That (nea) being said, and without checking what site it is: It's possible the site was removed by mistake. You may re-suggest the site once to the correct category.

All of the above being said, it should also be noted that its not uncommon for the listing criteria to have changed considerably in 7 years rendering a once listable site unlistable under the current guidelines.
