My website link is not getting added to open directory

Since one year I have been trying to suggest my website URL to ODP, even I have suggested URL for most exact category matches to my website but unfortunately till now it is not appearing in ODP. Is there any issues with my website or technically not sound. How do I come to know the reason of failure that my website is not getting added in the ODP. Please suggest ...

It seems you misunderstand the nature of the Open Directory, which is not a listing service, so there is no way you can "get" your site listed.
You have suggested it, and one day it will be reviewed by a volunteer, but nobody can say who or when that might be.

I notice that you said you have suggested your site to the "most exact category matches", so I wonder if you have read the directions to select the single best category and suggest your site once?
A 2nd or even 3rd suggestion after several months is OK, in case you made a mistake the first time, but repeated suggestions to multiple categories can easily be regarded as spamming.

I dont remember but I think I must have suggested URL for twice and thrice but with a frequent interval of time after a month or two. What do I do now ? How can I know the status or reason ?? Please help ...

Regarding dmoz listing

Depends on editor skill. If he/she has sound knowledge on given category then ok otherwise excuse..................
