MyCampbeltown status check please?

Please don't crucify me if submission was less than a month ago, my wife did it. I have asked her to be specific as to when exactly she submitted but says it's 'about' a month. Women

Anyway, www.mycampbeltown.com is complete and adverts are going out now. It was submitted to the following category, or so I am led to believe:

Please don't take this as a criticism (I know you guys give a lot of time to what must be a thankless task most of the time) but might it be accepted sooner if I became an editor? .....Just something I was considering.

The site is actually waiting in http://dmoz.org/Regional/Europe/United_Kingdom/Scotland/Argyll_and_Bute/Campbeltown and was suggested on 24 Aug, so you're clear on that one.

In the mean time I'd hope like heck no one reviews it soon, because it is seriously lacking in that commodity we value most, 'unique content'.

In fact I really had to work at seeing any local focus at all. Forum posts and classified adverts need to be in much larger quantities to start to be considered as useful content, country wide news feeds, whilst of local interest, are not, by definition, unique.

For now, I'd just continue building content.
