Adjust expectations. You can't "get" anything listed. You can possibly help an editor by suggesting that sites would be valuable addition to their categories. Editors appreciate good help, but they may be off working in another category (or even on non-volunteer duties) this month. So there can be no reasonable expectation that a site will be listed within any particular arbitrary deadline.
