I submit our website to DMOZ four times
Six times in seven months actually, thus ignoring the submission guidelines that you agreed each time :(. Be aware that we treat spammers the same way that you treat spammers.

You might have misunderstood our objectives and how we operate here. ODP is a volunteer organisation building a directory as a hobby. Editors edit where they wish, when they wish and as much as they wish within the constraints of their permissions. We have no schedules or systems to force people to do work that they don't volunteer to do. ODP is not primarily a free listing service for website owners and it does not attempt to process their listing suggestions within the time scales desired by them.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestion in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.

Thanks for your answer.Thank you very much. One more quesiton ,i just think if the relevant catalogue ,the volunteer has never come back to the DMOZ community to make their contribution,to aduit the applicant, or the maybe the man who isn't have the ability (maybe ill or others) ,and also this catalogue has closed ,do not let other man can become the editor. It means whether the applicant to become jont the community never come true ?

Editors don't own categories to the exclusion of all editors. Ove 200 of us have universal permissions and can edit in any category that interests us - and we do.

That sounds very great. But actually it doesn't work. Many of people including the website owner ,SEO worker etc also feedback the question is that,Wait for a long time, almost forget. But nobody can help ,even if send back some suggestion to tell the man to piont out which make mistake as per the e-mail address the man fill in the submit form. But it doesn't, And also ,As the audit have a little slowly , i once try to joint the relevant catalogue to become the editor to make my contribution,,but unfortunatelly, the message is that ,this catalogue has enough editor, and never accept the new editor again.

You might not have read the complete message which is:

Thank you for your interest in becoming an Open Directory Project editor! Although we would like you to join us as a volunteer editor, you have chosen a category that is already well represented, or is broader than we typically assign to a new editor. We would encourage you to re-apply for a category that has fewer editors or is smaller in scope, in order to increase your chances of being accepted.

Feel free to reapply by submitting an application in another area. If you wish to re-apply, you must fill out another application. Please do not reply to this email.

I've bolded the parts that people sometimes don't notice.

It's best to apply for a category of 15-100 listings that isn't in a spam prone sector.

Hello, I submitted my site to the directory about a 1 1/2 years ago then once again about 4 months ago. I read that we should not submitt too often. Is no news good news? Will I get a reply good or bad when my site is reviewed? Will the reply include information that will help me correct any issues that may have caused my site to be declined? Thank You for your attention.

Did you even bother to read the answers given above? :(

> I read that we should not submitt too often.
More than once is already to often
> Will I get a reply good or bad when my site is reviewed?
No
> Will the reply include information that will help me correct any issues that may have caused my site to be declined?
The reasons to decline a suggestion are not correctable. The DMOZ guidelines describe which type of website we do not list. As you can read them before you suggest a website there is no reason to inform you about them after the site is reviewed.

Your question is very unclear.
Is it about an application to become an editor? We can not help you with such an application. Being able to write a decent application is something you must do yourself. In the email you received some tips are given to improve. And Jim has given you some more tips. We can not provide more help.
A good application
- tells us who you are (tell the truth)
- shows us that you understand the purpose of the category by giving 3 example websites that belong in the category and that are not listed yet
- provide decent titles and descriptions for these 3 example websites (we do not expect perfection but they must be close to the guidelines)
- write the application showing that you are capable of writing the language of that category (from your writings here I would say your understanding of English is not good enough to become an editor for an English language categeory, you could try for a category in your own language)
