Need help with site name correction

Thanks for giving me this opportunity to help resolve a lingering dilemma that has me bewildered. I simply need to have my web site's name corrected in my odp listing, everything else is fine. I have no idea how it was listed differently than I submitted. I waited patiently over two years to finally have my site listed in dmoz and somehow it was given an incorrect name. It also appears in alexa like that, which after three recent correction attempts in three months there failed, I figured it kept picking it up from my dmoz listing. I tried updating it also in dmoz and had to go up a few categories until I found an editor to submit my correction request to, over 5 months ago. Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I am going around in circles. Is there another way to go about a listing correction that I can't seem to find?

(Perhaps it doesn't matter that I should just be grateful I got a listing?)

Here's what to do:
1. Go to the category that your site is listed in.
2. Click "update listing" on the top right of the page.
3. Enter your URL.
4. Correct the mistake.
5. Send the update request.

I just submitted the correction at dmoz as you suggested. I will keep my fingers crossed that it works.

Do you know if alexa takes listings from dmoz or the other way around? Just curious.
