New application not possible after previous one was rejected

Hey,

A few days ago, I applied to become an editor, but today I got a message saying the category I applied for was too big for a newbie editor, and I was prompted to apply again for a smaller category.

Which I did some time later, but now, each time I try to apply for a new category, I get the same error message "Sorry, you can only apply for one category at a time".

What should I do ?

I'm confused here. You say that you reapplied "some time later." Did you get denied on that one as well? If you still have an application in the system you won't be able to apply again until that one is processed.

Thankx for replying.

No, I first applied to one category that was denied to me by mail. And now, I tried to apply to just one other category, but I get the message that I can only apply to one category at a time. I don't have any application pending.

What should I do ?

Each time you applied what category did you pick, and which editor name(s). We can have a look and see if you have anything in the queue. And if not, we can have out tech staff clear out the message for you.

Well, first I applied for the category Top: World: Nederlands: Regionaal: België
Vlaanderen: Limburg but I got a mail telling that particular category was too big for a newbie editor like me and that I should reapply for a other, smaller category. I applied with the editor name "poemelke".

A few days after that email, I applied for an other category, World: Nederlands: Regionaal: België: Vlaanderen: Limburg: Gemeenten: Heusden-Zolder, which is the category for my own home town. But everytime I try, I get an error message saying I can only apply to one category at a time. I again applied with the editor name "poemelke".

These are the only categories I ever applied for.

Ya, there are no applications for those categories in the list. If you have another e-mail address try applying with that, and a slighty different name (add a middle initial or name for example). That should let you apply again. If not let us know.

When you submitted the second application for Heusden-Zolder did you receive and reply to the confirmation e-mail? If you never replied to that e-mail then the application is only part way into the system. We wouldn't be able to see it, but the system would still reject you if you applied again.

Regardless, if you follow enarra's advice above you'll be able to apply again.
