We are a full line Musical instrument, equipment and supply store. There was nothing entirely approptiate. I had to choose between instruments and equipment. And the categories that were offered were very limited and, as a music merchant, didn't make much sense.

If you're talking about http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Music/Equipment/, you'll notice that the Instruments category is linked there. So a site selling both equipment and instruments would go there.
