New Category Needed

I am trying to submit a Luxury Lifestyle magazine site, composed of blogs, product reviews, tools and information on a range of topics for both men and women, ranging from investment to beauty, travel to jobs, fashion to psychology. I can't find any category that suits and I know I must avoid submitting to the wrong category.
I would like a new, more general category that was something like:
Consumer Media>Online Magazines>Luxury Lifestyle
Let me know if you can provide this. We are not by any means the only site to fit into a luxury lifestyle category - and we are consumer not business focused.

We don't create new subcategories on external request. We create them only after internal discussion and when we have enough websites to populate them.

In the meantime, please suggest your website to the parent, adding a note to the editor if you wish [like this].

If you know of several such sites, suggest them too and with similar notes. This will help to show our editors that the need is there.

We don't have anything called Consumer Media > Online Magazines so we certainly couldn't add a Luxury Lifestyle subcategory there.

Most lifestyle magazines are listed in http://dmoz.org/Home/News_and_Media so that's probably a good place for you to start.

problem with Home Category

Hello, I looked at the Home category, and think my website does not really fit in with the other magazines, which are mostly home based (and many of which I have worked on the British versions thereof). Mine is very much in the category known as Luxury Lifestyle. Is there any way this could be squeezed into another appropriate category?

Drill down through the directory, find the category where you think such a subcategory should be, and then suggest your site there. If editors think a Luxury Lifestyle category is warranted, they'll create it.
