New Category Suggestion

Dear Editors,

That's really great that there many categories in different languages in your this section: http://dmoz.org/World . I was searching for category in URDU Language, and it wasn't there. I think there should be a category in URDU language so people in Pakistan and worldwide speaking URDU, who are not proficient in English Language, can easily scroll through their required websites in URDU language.

I hope you would consider my suggestion. If required, I will help you in your advancements to achieve optimized results in URDU category. I can easily translate web site's description in URDU language, and I am not having any difficulty in reading and writing URDU because of being my Home Language.

I was forced to send suggestion because there are many people I know who want this addition.

We have such a category started, but we need a volunteer who can read and write Urdu.

If you are such a person, please consider applying for Test: World: Urdu. Please note, this is meant to be a listing of sites with information in Urdu, described in Urdu. Bilingual or multilingual sites are welcome.

We would very much like to be able to present such a category to the public, like Bangla, Hindi, and Kannada.

Thanks very much for your kind reply and I will obviously apply today because I can read, write and understand URDU very well. But I have noticed one thing that this Top ->test -> Urdu category cannot be accessed from your main web page. I would be your thankful if I can know that when this category will be available to public.

It's true, it can't be accessed from the main site, because it has not been developed enough. It really needs help from a dedicated editor with knowledge of the language.

(As an aside, this is true of a large number of languages: all the languages (except those marked with an @) that are listed in http://dmoz.org/Test/World/ need to be more developed before they can be published in the main directory. We would really like that to happen for each of those languages, from Abchasian to Zulu.)

However I have already applied to Test>World>Urdu>Computers
I think it would be better category to start with.

There could be some missing things, as no one is perfect in this world. Please inform me what was the requirement I was missing if possible, so I can improve myself.
