New category.

I could not find a category to describe home made or hand made utilities in DMOZ. We can make many things of our need with some little efforts. I appeal to admin to make such type of category for the benefit of enthusiasts.

We don't create categories on external request; we only create them after internal discussion has determined that there is a need.

Meanwhile, please suggest your website to the parent category of your proposed new category. It would help to demonstrate a need if you also suggest half a dozen of your competitors' websites.

I do not have such website to submit of my own. I was only suggesting DMOZ a category like that. Do it yourself sites are interesting to me. You may either take it for your internal discussion or may not as you like.My intention is only limited to share my thinking to DMOZ.If it could help to make DMOZ,a better resource.Thanks.
