New Editor Cannot Login with User Name / Password

I have just been accepted as an Editor, but cannot login with my username (rdpozo) and my password.

I think my password is broken (as per donalbd 's reply to Cham911 's post on September 4th).

I get the following error message using IE 6:

Authorization Required
This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

Additionally, a 401 Authorization Required error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Thanks a million, by the way my password is exactly 8 characters long so it is either that or a firewall issue with IE6.

Humm, I think I am having the exact same issue here trying to sign-in using the new username / password. donaldb, could you please also forward my username (shoreline) to the tech people to look into?

It looks like it was all new editors from the past couple of days. We haven't heard back from tech support yet, but I imagine that all the new editors from the past couple of days will all be fixed at once.

We've got a good list going and both of you were already there so just hold tight.

I am having the same problem. I've sent an email to the top level editor for my area and have tried emailing a few other ways, but haven't had a reply so I'm not sure I'm getting thru to anyone.

My area:
Home/Consumer_Information/Jewelry_and_Gemstones

I am also a new editor (since 4 Sep) but am still unable to log-in. I would be grateful if my account name: playdreamer could be passed on to the techs for investigation. Thanks.

I (muesli) was recently reinstated as an editor, but cannot login (seems to be the issue as those above). Can you please have this checked on?
