Dear Sirs,

Please, feel free to move this post to the right location or delete the links

In August, I bought a domain and opened a new website <URL deleted>
I provide CAD and design services.
I knew (in advance) that, in the past, the domain was owned by a CAD software manufacturer. The program and manufacturer don't exist anymore, however, they are still listed in dmoz. However, as you can verify, the links don't work
http://search.dmoz.org/cgi-bin/search?search=draftcad

I have a couple of questions
1 - If you are looking for my current website in the web,the link to dmoz.org (above) appears in lots of search engines, and once the page linked is empty, is it possible to remove it?
2 - Does the above situation affect my possibilities of being included in the dmoz directory? I suggested my website, but I dont know if, with the above situation, it would be considered

Thank you in advance

Patricia

We don't remove listings of functional websites on request, particularly when we don't know who's making that request.

Please visit the category where it's listed and use the update URL link to state your case. Be sure to first amend the original website to either take it down or to put a prominent notice on the home page. Doing that shouldn't be a problem if it's yours ;).

That search returns just one website http://www.illuminated.com.au and it works fine for me. Did you think we hadn't checked?

Well it works for me using Firefox, IE and Opera under Windows XP and Firefox Under Ubuntu Linux. There is no reason to delist it.

On a Macintosh it correctly works on Safari, Firefox, Opera and Camino. :)
