I'm not able to reach the editor bobearth editor of

Adult: Image Galleries: Movies: Free

to get his attention of a problem in the category above.

I'm an adult webmistress, i had my site listed in the ODP in the category above without any problem. The original description stated me as a "Dating Services" have no clue where it got there knowing that I have an adult site.

I submited the changes 2-3 months ago, and on 10/3/02 the editor visited my site (according the server log), and hip! the site disappeared from the category above.

I can still search for it (search button "dorines.com") on the ODP , and it shows clear in which category the site is still listed (same cat as above) but if I go manually to the category the site is gone.

I suggested new title and description in my update.

I wish i can provide you with a clickable link, but the site is no longer there.

If an editor get this post i can surely use your opinion and if there is anything wrong in the site please let me know so I can fix it or let me know what's happening. We're listed on all major search engines with high ranking.

I was hopping bobearth (editor of my category) had some links on his page but his page is full of broken links and nothings shows up http://home.graffiti.net/bobearth.

Thanks in advance hoping i can clear out this, specially the site was listed ok and than de-listed for some reason. An of course I wish editors reply the reason it is not visible.

Ok, your site was listed in http://dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/Movies/Free upto June this year when it was moved to the unreviewed queue of http://dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/Movies/ as it didn't appear to have sufficient free content to warrant listing in the original category. It was then again deleted from the unreviewed category for http://dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/Movies/Free in August and the start of October by 2 seperate editors for the 'lack of free content' reason.

Do not resubmit as your site is awaiting review in the more appopriate category of http://dmoz.org/Adult/Image_Galleries/Movies/ and additional submissions to the 'Free' subcategory (as I have just deleted 2 from there) may start to make you appear as a spammer.

Contacting editors

Please do not go to an editors private homepage (indicated by 'Home Page:' on their editor profile to contact them. Instead, if you do feel a need to contact an editor directly, use the 'Email: Send to xxxx' link on their profile. This has a few benefits, mainly so it tags the email as ODP related so it can be automatically sorted by the volunteer editor (I personally have a special email address just for ODP mail and if I receive any email sent from an unknown sender to one of my other addresses it has to sit in my 'spam-trap' until I get round to checking it).

However, some editors are reluctant to respond to emailed questions/queries from submitters due to past experiences (the phrase "once bitten, twice shy" comes to mind) and therefore I recommend any questions should now be directed via this forum where any editor can answer. You never know, the editor who you directly sent your 'very important mail' to could have gone on a 3 month vacation to the Arctic and will be unable to check their mail during that time.

Cool .. at last the mystery is solved. I really like to thank you for your quick response, Being under the new category is OK.

The concept between FREE vs PAID is not really clear in the guidelines (I'm not starting a debate - I know it will not end, I've been to the nextshow in vegas for Adult webmasters and seen it all .
According to our FREE area members watching more than 60 mins of totally free Clips "DAILY" and enjoying the Free GAMES and Teasers they agreed they enjoy the Free service opposed to 10 seconds clips offered on other sites.

But hey you guys you're doing a great job keeping the net clean and really reviewing sites pushes webmasters to give the best they can in their designs and services

I will NOT submit it again to the FREE area (i'm not a spammer), and hopefully it will appear in the new section as soon as possible.

PS: I also feature live nude chats, how can I submit it to another category related to XXX chats considering that by law the entry page should be the warning page (main index page). this will look like a double posting and editors do not like it. Or if you can help on this issue please let me know.
