Hi,

I tried summiting my site a fews time within several months but still not listed.

I tried summiting to the follwing category :-http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Religion_and_Spirituality/Taoism/Feng_Shui/Suppliers

My Website is www.fengshui-gift.com

Please advise

Please provide a clickable link to the category where you made your submission.

Please confirm that it has been a minimum of 30 days since your most recent submission (it does not matter how long it has been since the first submission, the 30-day times is based on the most recent).

Thanks, it is great to hear that our submission has been received and we do not have to re-summited.

Approximately how long do we have to wait until our site will be reviewed?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Strange, how many people think we can look into the future. But we can't. Noone can predict when a site will be reviewed.

Thanks for the reply. I guess no one could predict the future but would you know, on this particular category, how many sites are waiting for review?

Hello, Patrick, I am sorry but we no longer give out that information since it is irrelevant to review times and can serve no purpose other than possible false expectations on the part of the suggester.

There is a link to FAQ in my signature. The best answer to your question will be found there. The forum guidelines also linked in my signature will provide helpful information about when and how to post for status checks.

You are next eligible for a status check after September 29, 2005. In the meantime periodical checks of the category will let you know if the site has been listed. Good Luck. :)

The problem with that datum is threefold: (1) we don't know when an editor will work there; in any case, NO editor works on a strictly metered queue". (2) the editors who do most of the work, also can also work on most other directory categories, so insofar as there is a "pool", it may as well be considered to hold all submitted sites; (3) There is nothing that says an editor has to focus on submitted sites; millions of listings have been added on editor initiative alone. So if an editor works on this category, the "pool of sites to review" consists of all the sites on the web on that topic -- and that you can estimate for yourself, with a bit of Googling (just like our editor-surfers do).

Thanks, I will check back after September 29. In the mean time, I hope there is a editor to review our site soon.
