Hi, I am totally new to this Forum, and just want to say hello, and ask. Is Music Mozstill active? I am just curious because I see ©2001-2007, and it doesn't seem like editors are still working on the project. I have seen a couple artists which seem to be more current, but I am lost. Does anyone know? Thank you for your time

No, it isn't. I can't say if it might be reactivated eventually, but (just my personal opinion here) it does not seem likely.

Hi there WindHarp, your name seems familiar. I may have even tried to contact you via the communication page at Music Moz. Anyway, just to be clear, NOTHING can be added there right now, the site is currently completely inactive?
Thank you once again for your time, and it is a real shame the project has fallen through. It seemed to have such promise.

Yes, you did. Cleaning up my junk folder I found your feedback today. I am surprised that the feedback does actually work. I just tried to login and contrary to my last tries that did work as well. Last time I did get access is looooong ago, and back then the last forum posting was months old, and editing was disabled. According to some forum posts editing does work at the moment.

So I need to revert my above statement (Sorry for the misinformation): Obviously - at least in theory - MusicMoz is still working. The "last login" for editors seems broken but on "Mon Jul 9" a new editor was accepted. So someone is even able to accept new editors. I am surprised someone took the time to get the software up and working again. But anyway, I (personally) don't think MusicMoz makes much sense in it's current state, it's outdated in more than one aspect. Not to mention that due to the long outings I don't assume there are many active editors left. You can try to apply though, it doesn't hurt and might be some fun :)

Hi there again. I don't consider your response "misinformation," to look at the site one would think it was practically abandoned as we both did. I'm afraid at this point in my life I don't have the programming skills necessary to aid in reconstructing the site, but any savvy digital soul should know Music Moz needs updating. I agree that applying for editorial duties might be fun, but I've also humbly began adding some info just to see what may happen. The notice said wait three weeks before trying to add anything again. You seem to be a top contributor here, but I'd love to know if anything I have added reached anyone who would list the information.
Thank you so much for responding back and forth with me.

Programming isn't anything that can be done by editors anyway, that's (in theory) done by AOL staff.

I'd love to know if anything I have added reached anyone who would list the information.

Can you send me a PM with details about something you tried to submit to MusicMoz? I'd like to check if that part of the system works as intended. (Not that I plan on doing much on MusicMoz currently, but knowing which things work/don't work is always a benefit)
