Newbie site disappearance question

OK,

I submitted www.belovedbodycare.com just a few days ago.

Previously this site was listed in Yahoo, Google, etc. if you typed 'beloved body care' (no quotes) in the search area of one of these engines.

Since submitting to DMOZ, the site is gone...disappeared.

Did I screw up? Is the site gone from the ODP? Or is this just the nature of the beast, that it is getting analyzed, etc.?

Any help would be very much appreciated...I think it was submitted in the shopping/body care section.

As far as I can see, that site was never listed in ODP.

If you never submitted before, and you just submitted a few days ago, then post a message in the Site Submission Status part of this forum at aeast a month after you submitted, making sure to read the posting guidelines very carefully.

As far as other search engines, they are off topic for this forum.

Still curious...

Thanks for the fast response...

Very strange...as I submitted it myself. What if I resubmit it, will it get bumped out for good if it is in the queue somewhere? I don't want that to happen.

Would submission in the ODP cause the site to vanish from search engines?

Thanks again!

Read my post above again, since I changed it just as you posted.

UGH! One last silly question

Even though you said that you did not see the site being submitted...sounds like it is possible that it is in a 'queue' somewhere, accessible after about a month.
Is that correct?
Sorry to add on another question.

That is possible.

But nobody can see it there, except editors who explicitly view the "queue" (actually, unordered heap) in that category. Certainly Google, Yahoo, etc. can't. That submittal has no effect, ever, on search engines unless and until it is actually listed.

You misquote me - I said it had never been listed in ODP, I said nothing about it's submission status
