Sorry if I am posting wrong. I tryed to become an editor of: http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Gifts/Gift_Baskets/Bath_and_Beauty/ yet I didn't recieve an email acknowledgement. Is that correct or should I have received something?

You should have received the confirmation e-mail almost immediately. Sometimes spam filters redirect those e-mails for some reason so you have to keep an eye on any spam folders for those confirmation e-mails.

If we know the category that you applied for and the editorname you chose we could maybe get our tech support person to re-trigger the confirmation, but it might take a while for them to get to it.

You could always apply again with a different e-mail address and editorname.

I did include the category in my post, knowing that you couldn't really do anything without the necessary information. I guess I am really just wondering if you got my submission.

Nope - if you didn't receive and reply to a confirmation e-mail then the application won't even make it into the pile. We could get our tech support person to see if it is still in the pre-screen queue, but that gets purged frequently. The easiest thing is for you to reapply with a different e-mail address.
