HI there,
I just joined the forum. I've been having a bit of a problem trying to submit a site to dmoz. I haven't had any notification of why it can't/isn't being accepted, but haven't been able to find it on dmoz either.
I wondered whether tis is the right place to seek advice?

Do you mean that you've suggested a site for inclusion into the directory, but that so far it hasn't been included?

If so, then provided it meets our site selection criteria, it's probably still waiting for a volunteer editor to review it. Since we get a lot of site suggestions from the public, and there are only a finite set of editors with a finite amount of free time to donate to the project, it may take a while before someone gets round to looking at your particular site.

Yup, exactly. I tried submitting a few months ago, and looked for it on dmoz a week or so ago. As I couldn't see it listed, I resubmitted. I wondered whether I should hvae just waited a bit longer, would I risk being penalised for the resubmission?
