News: Online Archives: CNN.com

Hello everyone,
I am sure anyone has mentioned it before. But, I think the whole category is useless and unnecessary. In my opinion, to be listed in "Online Archives", the site must have a searchable database or an index that links to all news articles.

If the site doesn't provide that, ODP shouldn't build an index for the site.

I think you'll find a lot of editors agree that the CNN listings are useless.

I think it's safe to say that someone (last week) brought that up in the appropriate internal forum. Your suggestion is being considered.
