No Category for my site

Hi all, my site is about exercising a specific body part. I didn't see a sub directory for this so I submitted to the Fitness/Weight Loss category. I searched and searched and searched to find a more specific category but there was none. Will the editor just move it to another category for another editor to review if he or she found that the one I submitted to was inappropriate? I'm just concerned about getting penalized for this.

I don't think there are any categories for exercising specific body parts, so it's highly unlikely that one would be made for a single site.

Editors are supposed to move sites to the correct category, so don't worry - we don't delete them for being sent to the wrong place.

Okay, thanks well it definitely was not malicious. :)

One other question and you may or may not be able to answer this but I noticed the editor had visited my site the day after I submitted because my stat logs on my website picked up a URL from a DMOZ login. My site didn't appear in the index. That doesn't automatically mean it was rejected right? Could that mean he also may have moved it to another category for an additional review?

I'm not asking for a site submission status, but just mean in general....could that also mean he/she moved the site for another reviewer?

Thanks for the quick responses.

Could mean almost anything - we would not know unless we asked the editor in question what he was doing at that instant in time. In many cases, it's just a quick check to see if the site exists, and is not under constuction and looks like it's basically ok and in the right place. The result of that might be to do nothing, or possibly it might have been moved to another category. I would suggest wait about 10 days and search for your site URL on ODP search. If it got listed it would show up.
