No editor for category?

I have a site which I submitted to a category but this category needs a editor. Does this mean that my site will not be listed until an editor is found?

Not at all. Every editor in every category above the one you submitted to can edit in that category. Also, every editor with 'editall' privileges can edit there, as well as every editor with 'meta' privileges. That's several hundred editors that will have access to your submission.

Editors higher up in the tree help out in areas where there are no "official" editors. <img src="/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />
