Will I ever get listed if there is no editor for my category?
I've tried for almost a year now. Other sites I run have been listed (other categories, other subjects).

I have picked the MOST relevant category for my site.
The problem is, there is no editor. I guess the editor a level up would be looking at my submission, but I don't seem to get listed.

I have checked, and re-checked the category to insure it's the proper one. I have made my submissions exactly as directed. So...

What's the deal? No editor, No Listing??

Attempting:
www.nortonproject.com
A site that offers my animated cursor collection for free download as well as other helpful cursor resources, etc.

category:
Top: Computers: Software: Desktop Customization: Cursors

I'd love any help in identifying something I may be doing wrong. I know it's supposed to take a while to get listed, but it's almost been a year.

Thank you!

Thanks for the sympathy :)
Actually, I'm not complaining. I know this is a human type directory, and there are no promises made or guarantees that you will get listed, etc.
It's just that my other sites were listed pretty quick, and since all my sites are of high quality (not under construction, no bad links, content rich, etc). The only thing I can tell that is different is the fact that there is no editor for the specific category this site falls under.

Now would be a good time to declare (all of) the URLs for "all of your sites" because the submittal policy makes very clear mention about the number of "related sites" that may be submitted (and the resultant number that are listed {clue: it is less than one} once abuse is detected).

Yeah giz... My other site is about a folding canoe, and another about holography. So my cursor one is not any sort of mirror or duplicate site.

Thanks for the link lmocr, it sure answers my question.

I gues that means you are not going to provide the URLs so that we can take a peek?

Wonder why not?

spectregunner... Interesting reply.
The URL's are:
http://www.tucktech.com a site for my folding canoe.
http://www.3dusa.com a site for my hologram stuff. 3dusa has been closed for a few years, and is not listed anymore. You could use wayback to verify that it was indeed a site for holograms. I worked mainly with Dupont's photopolymer films. I was the one who put out those stupid "lennon style" sunglasses with hologram eyeballs floating in them.

Lots of fame and fortune for those glasses on the World Poker Tour!

Thank you for the URLs.

spectregunner... no problem.
Perfect timing on my part. I closed down the glasses in 2003, and sold off to a competitor (lightrix). Now they get all the business created by one guy wearing them to play poker! Just my luck.
