No Submit Button, Editors E-mail link not working

The Subject describes the problem. The page I want to submit to doesn't have a Submit button and I can't contact the editor. I would like a major site that was deleted reinstated. Can anyone help please? I have contacted staff at DMOZ but no response as yet.
Thanks.

As staff@dmoz is TWO people, you are highly unlikely to receive a reply from there.

The Add URL button is disabled for categories that receive a lot of inappropriate spam. It is also disabled when submissions should be submitted to a more appropriate subcategory. Please check these to see if the submission should go there (or indeed that the site may have been moved there already, rather than deleted).

As for someone to look in detail, then either quote both the site URL, and a clickable link to the category in question; or else send feedback to an Editall or a Meta editor to look into it.

giz, thanks for the very quick response. The page I want the site reinstated to is :-
Shopping > Directories
It is definately the most appropriate category for this shopping directory.
Thanks.

Um, http://directory.google.com/Top/Shopping/Directories/ . Since this is the Open Directory Project, not Google, you should be looking at http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Directories/ .

Are you sure that the site hasn't been moved to another category? Beware that the search facility doesn't usually show any changes in the last week or so. This level in the directory doesn't usually have a Submit button for the reasons stated in my last post [It does still have a 'Update URL' button so that changes to existing listings can be flagged].

Also, be aware that while Google do use ODP data, that they may only take an update copy of the ODP data base (the so-called RDF dump) every month or two. There are some downstream ODP data users that haven't updated their copy for two or three years. A new RDF dump is available on an almost weekly basis for users to download, but many choose not to.

Ooops, sorry, my mistake, pasted the wrong URL. The one you gave is of course correct, how do I contact an Edit All who can look into this, urgently if possible?
