Hi, I have noticed a category:
"Top: Business: Telecommunications: Equipment: Telephones: Wireless Phones: Accessories (43) -
Last update: December 4, 2014 at 18:45:13 UTC"

This one have no editors and hasn't been updated for more than a year. Could anyone help to check if you have time?

I have submitted a listing Jan 3rd, 2014, and I have checked several months a time and didn't see any changes, not just checking for my own site but also for other appliers under this category.

I know that all editors are volunteers and get no paid, but it would be very nice if any editor can take a look at this category on your spare time. Thanks very much!

Justin

This is not how DMOZ works.
Ediyorts work where they like to work.

means that an editor did some work on the category anout one month ago
so your statement
> hasn't been updated for more than a year
is not true

Hi Pvgool,

Thanks for your kind reply.

I made a stupid mistake. So actually there is a editor who is checking the list which is good to here.

Would you please advise how long will it takes (averagely) from submit to list online? I have waited more than a year for this site (url removed per forum tos). How do I know whether my submission is passed or not, any notification?

There is no average.
Time between suggestion and review can vary between a few days and several years.
Suggesting the website more than once might negetively influence this time period (longer time between first sugegstion and review).

Noted.

Since I have waited 1 year on this category, can I re-submit? or submit in another related category?

Please kindly advise. Thank you!

When someone suggests a website, they are told to suggest only once. Any newer suggestion would move the site farther back into the mix, leaving a possibility that the site would take even longer to list.

Hi Molly,

Thanks. Is there anything I can do? I can't just wait and wait and there is no time limit. How do I know whether my suggestion will pass or not?
