Are you using hotmail? If yes, hotmail has problem receiving dmoz emails.
Just wait for an Admin or Meta and they will help you.

If you did not receive and replied to the email there is nothing we can do. Sorry. But without a rply we can not see the application.
Maybe the email has gone into the spam filter, please check.
Else you will have tp apply again, using another (non-hotmail) email account

Ok, yeah -- it is not in spam. I will just apply again...

Maybe there should be a message placed on the application stating hotmail accounts should be avoided. I will apply later today. If for some chance you find the application just post here -- I will check this before I apply again. Thanks.

UPDATE:

I applied again, this time using a Yahoo email. Again, no confirmation email received (checked spam as well)

It said the username I selected the first time was taken, so I used another one. Details for this application:

Any idea what to do? Both applications submitted failed to kick back a verification email.

yandex.mail

Nothing

Could a Meta or Admin look into this? I don't want to submit a 3rd application just yet (as I see others are reporting no verification email being sent either)

Great thanks - is it the original one w/ the Hotmail email? (I set up a Yahoo email just to send the 2nd application to see if it was a problem with Hotmail - and if I don't need that email account any longer I will discard it)

It shows the yahoo email address. There are issues with DMOZ and Hotmail that have not yet been resolved.

There is no need for you to do anything further. Some senior editor will process your application.
