There are several cats in the ODP where there are sites requiring membership to participate.
Some require registering to even see the content.
It would help editors, such as myself, when submitting such sites to provide us with a user name and password to sign in with. We need to be able to see your content!
Please understand that just an email contact (which some do not have) is not sufficient.
As you do not distribute your email address easily neither do we. There are sites existing to collect email addresses for Spam and other uses. And there are people that if rejected will attempt to send virus attacks.
Been through all of these before and do not want to go through them again. Not talking in regards to ODP here.
So please, provide us with a way to review your sites. And do not delete it after used if possible. If the site is moved to a more appropriate cat they will need to look also. And we may need to look again in the future to see if the site should still be included, has changed, or some other issue such as a change of cat editor has occurred.
Of course monitor the use and report any abuse of the permissions!
Thank-you.
