Not allowed to submit URL

OK, I've got a website I want to add to a category of Accommodation. I'm not allowed to add the website, because I've got to submit it to the regional directory. Problem is, I don't see the point in doing this, because the site supplies hotel in every continent, and not all of the continent categories have editors.

What's a guy to do??

There are two points to consider here - do you want to be listed so you are picked up by google et al, or do you want to be found by someone using the directory? If the first is you primary consideration ANY listing is a good listing.

Now as far as where to submit - you are implying you provide accommodation worldwide. If that was the case you would be listed at http://dmoz.org/Recreation/Travel/Lodging/Hotels/ , which is not accepting submissions because it was being spammed inappropriatly. Instead submit to a lower category with a note in the description stating the correct position, and refer to this thread.

However very few sites are going to be correctly listed at this level, especially sites that are booking agents or affilliate farms.

A Regional listing is for your PHYSICAL location. Wherever your business is located you can be listed as thats your place of business - make sure there is an address on the site to facilitate this and submit to the correct LOCALITY.

Hope this helps explain the system.
