Not duplicate but treated as duplicate?

I've developed a website <url removed> for my client. It is a properties portal.

I tried since a year ago to submit to the ODP under the category "Regional/Asia/Malaysia/States_and_Federal_Territories/Pulau_Pinang/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/" but the site was never listed.

I went into the category & noticed that there's another listed "PEN Properties - A Penang Realtor listing properties for sale and rent."

However, that is not my website nor a duplicate. I would appreciate if the editors can visit my website to check it out. I hope this is the correct place to communicate this so that I can get my website listed.

Thank you.

This is not the right place, I'm afraid. We don't discuss specific websites here.

That there is another company listed with the same name as yours (if I understood your query right) won't matter when the editors review your site suggestion. It's the content of the site that matters, not its name. However, if you want to make sure that the reviewing editor realises that your company is different from the one already listed, you can send in another site suggestion, and add a brief explanation in [square brackets] at the end of the Description field. If it has been a year since you last suggested the site, you don't have to worry about making another suggestion - it won't be seen as spam.

Offtopic: So you mean [ and ] plays an important role in the Editor's dash board?

[bracketed] comments would be viewed as additional information in most cases. For editor applications for example, the applicant could include [Proper Sub-category Placement] in the brackets that would help a reviewer understand their ability to place sites properly.
This same technique can be used in public submissions to highlight something of importance to a reviewer pertaining to the suggestion but that is not meant to be included in the description. In most cases the reviewing editor will already see what is being pointed out during their normal review, but it could happen where it would be overlooked. In all cases the editor will rewrite the description to remove the extra, unnecessary information from the description before publishing the listing.
