Not listed after years and Remove Closed Site

Hi,

I'm curious as to why my site <URL removed> hasn't been listed after years of trying. I've submitted I'm guessing once or twice at most per year for probably five years total now and still nothing. My most recent submission was a week or two ago I think and I got to thinking why not just ask here in the forums.

As a side note, my site <URL removed> is still in DMOZ. To maintain DMOZ integrity I wanted to notify someone that I've turned it off. How do I do that? No point in having DMOZ link to a site that doesn't exist any longer.

Thank you for letting us know about the site that is no longer working. If you ever come across a situation like that in the future, you can use the "Update listing" link on the relevant dmoz.org category page to let us know, or there's a dedicated thread in our Quality Control forum here for reporting dead links and quality issues of that type.

Regarding the site you recently suggested, we no longer provide status information here at this forum. Once you've suggested your site to the most appropriate category, you've really done all you can do. An editor will eventually review the suggestion but, unfortunately, it can take quite a long time for that to happen.

Ok - thanks! I just wanted to know if I needed to fix something or change it. Hopefully I'll get included eventually.
