Not sure I'm getting through: www.darkdezigns.com

Sorry to bother you folks about this but for some reason, probably due to the "Intra-Net" (WAN) settings which I am trying to submit 'through', I seem to be unable to submit my site for possible inclusion in DMOZ. ... Thought I'm actually not sure. I tried three or four weeks ago, and again today, with the same results. I 'hit the submit', my putter goes into a 'waiting response' mode and then nothing, it just sits there {for over an hour the first time}. So I think my submission is not getting through. Is there some other method I can use to submit the site to the appropriate catagory editor? ... or something I've missed? {quite possible}, or some way I can check to see if the submission is even getting through to you folks? I couldn't see anything in the 'how to' and related info I looked at ... though, as I said, I may have missed it. ... help please.
The catagory is:
http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Casual/T-Shirts/Humor
My site is:
www.darkdezigns.com

Many Thanks
MyrLin

You can find out if your submission has been received by going to the Site Submission Status forum, reading the ATTENTION - Forum Guidelines - READ BEFORE POSTING message, and posting a properly formatted submission status request.

As for difficulty submitting, we have had other reports similar to this and it seemed to be due to a firewall issue. Try turning off your firewall momentarily and see if you can submit then, or try from someone else's computer.

It's not the firewall as such, but you need not to block REFERER. (I don't know why people block that: I'm paranoid about internet security -- I have to be, as a site reviewer who has reviewed thousands of sites with malicious components with Gator installers, ActiveX components or other viruses, e-mail address collectors, etc. -- but I can't imagine what a malicious webmaster is going to do with REFERER, other than track affiliate sales.

Thanks, to both of you, ... unfortunatly, in my current location, I do not have much control over what is blocked. The 'admin' folks for the WAN I'm on are in New Jersey and ususlly don't respond to request, let alone do anything about them :( . ... anyway, thanks much for all your help. I will reformat my request to comply with the guidelines, my appologies ... had to read the thing twice before my suposed brain saw the error.
