Hello,
I was an editor back in 2007 of http://www.dmoz.org/Society/Organizations/Service_Clubs/Rotary/Rotaract/North_America/Canada/. About 6 months later I assume my account was deactivated due to inactivity.
I recently applied to be a new editor as I was unfortunately unable to find any reference to a username or dmoz in my emails (I don't know my username or email that I used). The response to my application was:
"Whilst we usually welcome returning ex editors, we are insistent that they come back under their original identities. That you've forgotten some of your login details or you no longer have access to your original email account are merely stumbling blocks, not show stoppers. Please visit http://www.dmoz.org/reinstate.html to request reinstatement. Any problems, please seek help at http://www.resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showforum=10."
Could you please provide me with steps that I should take to discover my original username/email/password? It seems that this is necessary before I can use the reinstate form mentioned.
Thank you for your help,
