Only reviewed two sites

Hi,

I have applied to help with the editing of:

Regional: Europe: United Kingdom: Business and Economy: Shopping: Clothing

I am concerned on two points.

1, The category might be deemed two large for me to become an editor initially.

2, I have just read in another forum that on registration if you only review two instead of the three sites some reviewers generally reject your application. Is this true?

If i had known this then i would of reviewed another site.

Thanks in advance for all who reply!

Yes, much too large. The metas tend to accept editors for categories with 100 sites or less. Have you thought about applying for a subcategory?

I can't vouch for that, but the more you give the better.

totalxsive,

Hi and many thanks for the reply.

The question now is what procedure do i follow anticipating a refusal due to the size of the category that i applied for. (Taking into consideration that i only applied this morning so have not had a response back from the reviewers) Should i just wait for a "sorry the category you applied for is to large" and then try again?

Thanks for the prompt reply. I have applied again in a much smaller directory. Regarding your additional comments contained in the reply email you mentioned that you enclosed a copy of the rejected app so “i can cut and paste” making for a more quicker application. Unfortunately there was no attachment so i manually filled it out again, Hope this was ok!

Oh, this time I utilised the full three url suggestions

Many thanks

Ouch. Sorry. I cut but didn't paste, I suppose -- it was supposed to have been included as text in the message, not as an attachment. And I was in a bit of a hurry.

Hutcheson,

Thanks for the reply. Anyway i received an answer today informing me that they have decided not to approve my application at this time. I am not sure why but i appreciate being considered. Maybe it was due to one of my suggested url's already being in the category that i applied for, although when i did a search it did not show up. I should of taken more time to go through the category by hand. Not to be disheartened, maybe i will try again as i really wanted to be part of the "team".

Thanks for all your input
