There is no status indicator as such, however assuming you replied to the confirmation email, you should (99% of the time) get an email to say that you've been accepted or rejected. If a at least 6 weeks have passed and you haven't heard anything, then try re-applying.
Oh and one more thing, when you apply, please ensure that you are applying with ODP, I'm not sure what OPD does ?
