Your best bet would be to leave it at least one month before re-enquiring. When you do so, please re-use this thread.

Thanks for asking. As stated in the forum guidelines, please wait at least one month before making a new status request, and re-use this thread to do so. The category doesn't seem to be too backlogged, but that doesn't mean your site will be reviewed by then. In fact, it's not possible at all to say when a site will be reviewed.

Hi,

Thank you for the update. The regional category was submitted by my design guy, now I am wondering if it's ok that there are 2 submissions that are pending?

Last time the editor told me that there are only 20 sites in the cue for the commodities brokerages, so I was wondering if there was any progress done? I really hope that I am not too rude by asking this.

There are many kinds of sites (some companies, for example), that are eligible for listing in Regional as well as in a topical category.

I don't know whether or not this would be appropriate for this site, but submitting it once to Business and once to Regional seems fine to me ;)

There are currently about 20 sites waiting for review in the commodities brokerage category.

Yes, a regional listing is independent from a topical one, if a site is of regional interest as well (a shop with a brick and mortar site for example)

That kind of question is why we usually don't hand out numbers. They don't say much about the time it needs, the order of progressing the sites is random. Maybe an editor passes by and removes 5 spam submission. The number would decrease, but no actual work had been done. Or maybe someone submits 10 deeplinks of his site - the number would increase, but no aditional work was added (deleting 9 of 10 is quite a quick job :) )
