There is no "Science and Technology" for http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Oklahoma/Business_and_Economy/ .

I am pretty sure this is where our site would go<url removed> . We do all kinds of engineering services in Oklahoma and have offices in 9 places, we have grown to become the second largest engineering firm in Oklahoma but have not been able to successfully get listed in DMOZ.

We have 22 EIT's and 15 PE's working on trying to figure how to do this with no success. I am about to get our PLS's involved but not sure if it will do any good.

I have an engineering degree from the University of Oklahoma and 12 years experience but somehow do not qualify to be an editor in this area (shrugs).

Anyway, I have given up trying to get accepted as an editor and now would just like to get our site listed.

Please make any helpful suggestions if there are any.

Since you're no longer interested in becoming an editor, I've moved your post to a more appropriate forum.

Within our Regional section, we list most businesses in their localities, not at state level. If the category you think you need doesn't yet exist, just suggest your website to the parent - once.

Incidentally, only one of your army of colleagues has suggested your website - several times on 2010-02-06 despite the suggestion guidelines that were agreed to at the time prohibiting multiple suggestions.

Some volunteer will process your listing suggestions in time but we can't predict who or when that might be. Elapsed times can range from a few days to a few years. There is no need to re-suggest your website and doing so could be counter-productive because a later suggestion overwrites any earlier one.
