page rank improvement

I run a domestic cleaning agency in London called Happy Hands and have been trying to get a good page rank. I currently have a pr2 which is pretty crap. I have submitted the site to the directory and just wanted to know roughly how long it takes to be accepted?

1. Read the posting guidance and provide the information requested in the necessary format if you want a status update.

2. Read the FAQ section on this site to find out about how long it takes for a site to be reviewed and why.

3. We haven't the slightest interest whatsoever in your Google page rank. We are not a promotional tool for webmasters and have no connection with Google except that along with many many others they download and use our data for their directory. A thread title like this one is a red rag to DMOZ editors (who can be more dangerous than bulls).

See also atleast 3 other postings from the same person. For me this has now become spam.

open forum

as an open forum i thought i was free to ask as many qusetions as i wanted. I have just had a reply from someone who thinks i'm spamming i resent this accusation and would be grateful if he/she could withdraw the statement

Posting four threads, not bothering to read or follow the guidelines, and posting off topic is spam. It's annoying. This forum is not open to post whatever you feel like. Hopefully real soon a moderator will remove the unwanted posts.

Now you know better, read the forum guidelines and FAQ section, request a status update if that is what you want. USING THIS THREAD, DON'T START ANOTHER ONE. That is the limit of what this forum is here for. I'm not sure what other forums you are a member of but I think starting 4 threads one after the other on similar lines would be considered spam in any of them.
