It's awaiting review in Regional/Caribbean/Cayman_Islands/Travel_and_Tourism/Travel_Services but we can't predict when that might be. Please do no submit it anywhere else.

If it hasn't been listed by 6th March, by all means ask again in this same thread.

Directory placement would be incorrect

http://belizecruiseexcursions.com is our service wesite for Belize City, Belize, promoting Cruise Line passengers excursions in the Port of Belize City, Belize, Central America.

The correct placement in the directory would be:

Regional/Central America/Belize/Travel and Tourism/Belize City/

Not sure how that can be changed to the correct regional location, we have submitted regionally correct for the past year and I am not sure how it would be "miss regionalized" on your review process. We hope our website for Belize will be placed in the correct directory placement.

PS: as stated in my last post, it really should be in a Belize or Central American catagory, not the Cayman Islands as the site is all about Belize Cruise Excursions and Tours

The editor will decide where to place the site, almost certainly without reviewing this thread.

I do understand that but if it was waiting to be reviewed for a catagory where it would not be relavent, would it be dismissed or sent to the editor that handles the appropriate catagory?

If the editor is doing their job properly, it will be forwarded to a more appropriate category for further review.

Hopefully it will be reviewed soon. It has been almost 2 years since I first submitted it. Prior to that, all of my sites were indexed within months.

It's funny how that sometimes works. Some sites get reviewed in hours, others wait years. There is nearly total randomness to it all. I've talked to some submitters who have never had an undue wait for a submission to appear, and others who, based on their experience, are deeply convinced that we hate them and are clocking their submissions.

I've seen some peoples status requests slip through the cracks four or five times in a row for no apparent reason.

This is the price we pay for not having any form of centralized "dispatch" (for lack of a better word).

I think we all know how frustrating the uncertainty can be. Yet, as one of the hoard of editors, it is nice to know that if I decide to log in tonight, I can do as little or as much as I choose, and I can edit anywhere I wish (within the confines of those areas where I have permission to edit).

Concersely, when I log in I might also wish to contribute by playing around with some category reorganization ideas that I have running around in the bck of my mind. some times that is a refreshing change from dealing with yet another new car dealer site.

Keep[ your chin up, an appropriate editor will eventually get to work on that cat.
