As you can see from my post, my attempts to get listed on DMOZ have been time-consuming, and somewhat frustrating.

BUT, I think results vary a lot. There are clearly some very dedicated volunteer editors, but I think it might just be luck-of-the-draw as to whether the category you are interested in is maintained by one of those hardworking folks, or not.

All I can suggest is that you try your luck. Make sure you read all the requirements, twice, and then be sure to follow the rules to the letter when submitting.
