Frankly, we have had inconsistent volunteer assistance rendering <url removed> less than it should be; we are winding it down.

As a DMOZ quality issue, this should be delisted.

Thanks.

If anyone needs to confirm that this is a legitimate request, david.hart [no spam please ] at <domain removed>

In general we don't allow discussion of specific sites in this forum, or let regular members have signatures advertising their own websites. (Apologies if you think the link removal was a bit draconian, but it's standard practice here.)

One exception to the specific sites rule is when addressing quality control issues. However, when judging the listability of the site, we go (almost) exclusively by the content that can be found on the site. So to verify that the request is legitimate, we'd need to see something on the site itself to suggest that it's no longer worth listing. This could be a notice that the project is no longer active, or just the removal of the useful content altogether.

If/when this information is available on the site, you can then let us know either by using the "update listing" link on the category page, or by posting in the Report Hijacks, Dead Links, Inappropriate ODP Content, and other issues here ONLY thread (where you can post the URL).

Hope that helps, and thanks for coming here to help us maintain the quality of the directory. I'm sorry if your volunteer project didn't work out.
