Please help me submit my site

I am the owner of <url removed> a full service travel agency in Canada. I have never been able to get my site listed and cant talk to anyone about why.

I feel my site is being targeted unfairly as I have tried to submit for 7 years now. What do I have to do to my website so I can be listed with all of my competitors. they are all there. i almost feel that i have been targeted by one of them to keep me out. please help me.

thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I have gone through the site selection criteria over and and over with my IT team. My site has over 300 pages of real content and is updated every minute to ensure real time results/accuracy. every single one of my competitors sites are listed and no one in my IT department can give me a straight answer. has my site been blacklisted? I would make whatever changes I needed to do but simply dont know where to start. thanks again for your time.

We don't discuss specific sites here. If your site is listable per our editing guidelines, then it won't have been blacklisted. But it can take anywhere from a few weeks to many years for even listable sites to be reviewed by an editor, given that editors choose where, when, and how often they edit. (Personally, I rarely choose to review travel agency sites and I suspect I'm not alone in that, since there is a lot of spam in that industry -- so it wouldn't surprise me that a site isn't reviewed quickly in one of those categories.)

I understand your policy about discussing specific sites in this forum but is there someone I can talk to who can tell me what I need to do to be listed or tell me what we did to not get listed. 7 years is a long time even by dmoz standards.

No, there is nobody to talk to about listing websites in DMOZ.
Not that we do not want to but DMOZ just does not provide any service to list websites at all.
DMOZ is not about listing websites it is about creating categories for subjects and provide our users with information about where they can read about that subject.
People can suggest websites to help us build categories. And that is all they can do
Ofcourse they can become editors themself. But we only accept editors who want to become one for the sake of DMOZ not those who are only interested in listing their own websites.

I truly believe my site is a valuable resource on the web. it provides real time results, fresh content and information on many different facets of the travel industry. can some one please edit my site. thank you for your time in advance.
