First of all, I love this new forum! Good Job DMOZ!

Over the course of the past year, I have submited my site under the category: Mortgages. We are a National Mortgage Lender who helps borrowers obtain mortgage financing with less then perfect credit. There are so many borrowers in need of this type of service! But, I can not get listed. I really feel this site would be of great value to your users. HELP!!! /images/icons/smile.gif

That is great! However, this does not allow borrowers from the other 49 states to locate us and use our service, as we are a National Mortgage Company. Can you help me with this?

Due to the huge amount of sites in that category, it had to be subcategorized somehow, in order not to overwhelm the user with thousands of links on one page. Most, if not all, mortgage companies like yours can service the entire United States, - however they are all subcategorized by state. Everyone is on the same playing field.

Our MAIN state we service is California. Can I at least get the site listed under this state mortgage category? By being listed in Minnesota is not really doing us any good. ANYTHING you can do will be greatly appreciated and I strongly believe your visitors will benefit from finding our site. /images/icons/smile.gif

I understand that, however you are located in Minnesota. I'm afraid that in this case, you are stuck being listed in Minnesota.

Basically, we look at where you are located and list you there. It's part of our guidelines and rightly or wrongly all companies are placed according to this. But take heart it is the fairest approach on the net.
