Please let me know status of http://lpdate.czweb.org .
Category: Top: World: Česky: Společnost: Vztahy: Seznamování

I'm not sure if I've choosen the approporiate category. This is dating site for people with dwarfism so I wasn't able to decide between dating and disabled people category.

This site require password. I've read in the guidelines that you need the password first to review the site. Who should I send the password to?

Thank you

I don't see any sign that we've received a suggestion to list that site. Perhaps you should submit it again.

If the reviewing editor needs a password (which seems likely in this case) he or she will ask for one using the email address provided with the submission.

Since your post is in English, I'll move this thread to the Submission Status forum.

Please bump this thread after November 9th and someone should be able to give you a submission update. (Our policy requires waiting 1 month after the intial submission and 6 months after that to request a status update)

Note that in competitive categories the wait is often closer to two years than two weeks -- but we can't know exactly how long it would be. The only fixed dates are here at the forums, and they are minimum limits on visitors, not maximum limits on editors.

I've submited it again. It is more than 3 months and still nothing happend.

In that time, the site was moved to the new address (http://www.lpdate.org/) and translated to English. So I submited it to
Top: World: Česky: Společnost: Vztahy: Seznamování and to Top: Society: Relationships: Dating: Personals: Specialized.

It is more than one month and nobody contacted me because of the username and password (the site is password protected).

I've become an editor so I know that it can take a long time before the site is reviewed. But I posted 4 submissions and nobody has contacted me.

Could you please check the status. I'm worried if my submissions hasn't been lost again.

Someone may contact you tomorrow, next month, in 2 years, in 5 years. When an editor gets around to reviewing your site. Not before.

It is waiting in http://dmoz.org/World/Česky/Společnost/Vztahy/Seznamování/

It is waiting in http://dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Dating/Personals/Specialized/

It is only my personal approach but if a site needs me to register and get a username and password before I review it then I will skip it and move onto another submission that doesn't, it makes much more productive use of my limited time. If, on the other hand, the webmaster has provided a guest username and password in the site description submitted, so I don't waste any time and don't have to reveal any details of myself in the process, then maybe I'll stop and look.

Because of past problems, editors are encouraged not to communicate with submitters and most don't these days. Imagine, I contact a dating site owner for a password, then decline the submission. I could then come in for a lot of abuse, harrassment, and some editors have been threatened. So I, for one, just don't do it. There are plenty of sites not requiring passwords for me to review, so it is no problem as far as I'm concerned.

Now you say you are an editor. You should know all of this then! If I were you I would resubmit and include a guest username and password. This will overwrite the existing submissions but I don't think it will make any difference to when the site is reviewed, maybe it will help if other editors are skipping it because they aren't inclined to contact you for those details.
