I'm not sure I understand your definition of mirror sites. Are you referring the the other domain names that resolve to the same site on the same machine?
www.21daycash.com and
www.providersfinancial.com and
www.providersmortgage.com are all at 209.216.203.7 - the same site/content. Providers Financial has its own legitimate reasons for having multiple domain names, to help its customers find its site, like
www.bofa.com resolves to the same site as
www.bankofamerica.com and
www.wamu.com points to the same site as
www.washingtonmutual.com, yet these companies have listings in
www.dmoz.org.
I searched Yahoo! for its California license #603A282, and I could not find any other websites owned by this lender, just the usual s.e.-results scraped spam web pages. Funny though that you bring up the issue, as the owner wants me to build a new website and advertise it for him. I told him that I prefer to work off a subdomain, rather than a new domain name, because of this extact issue we are discussing now. I'll forward your comments to him and get his feedback this Monday.
