Predecessor may have submitted us- but maybe not! How do I know?

Hi there. I recently took a new job and realized that my company is not listed in DMOZ. I have no idea whether my Predecessor submitted my company or not.

I want to suggest my site but know it is poor form to continually submit it. Is there any way for me to find out if he made a submission? If not, do you recommend that i just go ahead and submit it anyway with a note?

We have an invaluable review site with tons of great info and I want to get the word out.

I'm sure you wont be to badly thought upon submitting it ONCE more, that's providing your Predecessor didn't continually submit it that is.
