I submitted my web site http://www.presentsforyou.com a several months ago, but yet to see it listed

I would like to know the status of the web site

You couldn't have submitted it to that category: it's not accepting submissions. Did you, perhaps, submit it to a subcategory?

The category it would belong in, IMO, is http://dmoz.org/Shopping/General_Merchandise/P/

About 2 years ago the gift store section was moved from Shopping/Gifts and changed to General Merchandise.

My advice would be to submit it there, as it isn't appropriate for the gift section.

Things get so hectic here we have put limits on status checks.

30 days for an initial check or an editor suggested resubmission. Six months for a follow-up.

You may get a status check after July 11th.

You may request a status check 6 months from yoru previous response, which would be January 14.

We cannot estimate when the site may be listed. You'll know (if you're watching the category) within a few days of when we know.
