Problem becoming an Editor

Each time I complete the application to become an Editor I get an error message asking me to fill in the Password sections. No matter what I enter it returns to the same error message.

Make sure the password you pick is at least 8 characters long, I think you may need a number in there too, not positive though.

If you are sure you're doing that, let us know and I'll pass on the problem to our tech person.

Yup, eleven mixed characters.

The problem may well be xp based, it certainly isn't ZoneAlarm since I turned that off after the first few goes.

Another alternative is that I haven't put anything in the final section of the form, where up to three URLs may be suggested. I've purposefully left this blank since I haven't begun researching suitable sites for the Directory yet. Would that make a difference?

Not sure it has any relation with the problem you describe. But that would definitely make any meta reviewing your application reject it immediately. Those examples are the crucial part of an app.

In fact the form won't send with that section blank. And you'll never be accepted without it, that's for sure.
