Problem submitting site

Hello,

I was trying to submit my site http://www.encorefashion.com to the following categories:

http://www.dmoz.org/Shopping/Clothing/Used_and_Secondhand/

and because we also have a physical store:

http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Virginia/Localities/A/Alexandria/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/

In both cases, after clicking submit, the screen got stacked, and there was no confirmation that the submissions went through.

I know through submitting another site that the editors are busy, I want to follow the rules, and do not want to submit duplicates. I am not asking for a status in the editing process, but can you confirm that the submissions went through?

I'm afraid that, because of the spammers who want a quick status report, we cannot give status until after a month after submission. Sorry.

There has been active discussion on modifying the status reports, including a request to further split the report requests into a "received" (available more-or-less immediately) and further disposition, but it doesn't really seem that it would work, because of some automated filters which cause suggestions not to appear for some time.
